Requests for official Ontario County criminal records must go to the government office that created or maintains the file. The contacts below route court cases to the proper clerk, Sheriff reports to the Records unit, custody questions to the Ontario County Jail, and personal fingerprint-based history reviews to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services.

This Is Not a Government Office. This private reference cannot retrieve official records, perform a government check, correct an agency file, or receive a New York record-sealing application.
